The Rules

Welcome to The Wiccaweys Rescued Border Collies & Working Sheepdogs Forum.

The PRIME OBJECTIVE of the forum is to support Wiccaweys with it's rescue work, and to provide a place for discussion about our Border Collies & Working Sheepdogs.

We don’t say everyone who joins can only talk about specific topics, or even have to own a collie - what we do ask is that you have an interest in Border Collies and their welfare, and most importantly the work of Wiccaweys, and that you enjoy the time you spend here, and that everyone is respected. We’re a really friendly Forum who have lots of fun together, and offer each other support, advice and friendship. When we’re upset about things we often share this too and support each other in any way we can.

Now the boring bit:

* Please do remember this forum is primarily for Wiccaweys - it is not a general Border Collie discussion or chat forum.
If topics arise that are completely against the ethos of Wiccaweys and the work we do, a warning will be given and they will be removed.

* Please do not post links or details of dogs needing homes elsewhere. Wiccaweys are very careful about rescues and organisations they work with.
Please remember this is a Wiccaweys Forum to help find homes for dogs with Wiccaweys, not a general rescue forum.

* No Commercial Advertising Wiccaweys are very careful about the commercial organisations they work with.
Commercial Advertising is not allowed without prior agreement from Wiccaweys. WIccaweys must directly benefit from any advertising allowed.

* No subject is banned on the Forum, however, we like to keep the Forum friendly and roughly on topic.

* If topics become too heated or people are being upset unnecessarily by posts, a warning post will be put on by one of the Administrators asking for the discussion to be calmed down.
If that is not adhered to, the thread will be closed and removed immediately.

* If posts made by members on certain subjects give the appearance of being 'Wiccaweys Approved', and are not authorised by Wiccaweys Staff, they will also be closed and removed immediately.

* Please remember that whatever you “post” is equivalent to writing on a postcard – anyone who joins the Forum can read it.
Please avoid personal references to other Forum Members or anyone else you know, so that no inadvertent offence is caused.

* Please do not crosspost, either from the Wiccaweys forum or to the Wiccaweys forum, without permission from the orginal poster or board admin.

* Backstabbing, bitching, and general nastiness is not tolerated. Members will be warned once and then banned.

This isn't a general forum, it is a forum dedicated to the work of Wiccaweys and we do not have enough hours in the day to continually moderate it, we trust our members to be sensible, and would hope that our members respect that trust. If an issue arises on the forum that encrouches on our daily rescue work with the dogs, and takes our attention away from what is REALLY important, then that issue will be swiftly dealt with. No arguments, no debate.

So thats the boring bit out of the way, join in, have fun, and enjoy yourself. Once you register with the forum, you will be able to see all the boards available to forum members.
